The Centre is anchored by Coles, Kmart and Woolworths, mini major Cheap as Chips, and 35 specialty traders.
The Centre is a single level Shopping Centre consisting of two separate buildings. One building comprises Coles, Kmart and Liquorland and the other contains Woolworths, Cheap as Chips and specialties within a shopping mall complex.
Port Canal Shopping Centre positions itself in the market place as a Centre for convenient shopping and great value, a claim strongly supported by independent market research.
The weekly pedestrian / customer traffic averages out conservatively at around 60,000.
Significant private residential development has been earmarked for the Port Adelaide area which is well advanced near the Port Canal Shopping Centre, with the major Newport Quays development plus considerable warehouse / residential conversion near the old wharf areas.
