The Precision Group was founded in 1994 by Shaun Bonètt, and has grown to become one of the most successful private property investment companies in Australia. In 1998 Precision Group purchased Port Canal Shopping Centre and the adjacent Customs House office building in Port Adelaide. Subsequently in 1999, Precision Group acquired Adelaide Central Plaza as a development project, with the centre completed in 2000 incorporating a five level David Jones department store. Precision Group began to diversify its property holdings in 2003/4 with the acquisition of commercial properties in Brisbane at 144 Edward Street and 160 Ann Street, followed by the purchase of the Victory Hotel in Brisbane’s CBD and the White Horse Hotel in Sydney’s Surry Hills in 2005. In a substantial property transaction, Precision Group swapped 160 Ann Street in exchange for Brisbane's MacArthur Central Shopping Centre in 2006. In the same year Precision Group acquired Pran Central Shopping Centre in Melbourne, bolstering the company’s retail property portfolio. Precision Group is once again in the process of developing an iconic piece of real estate as part of the Chatswood Transport Interchange, with an agreement to purchase the four level Metro Chatswood Shopping Centre on its completion. Over a number of years Precision Group has built a team of dedicated professionals to manage the various aspects of the business. These highly experienced executives are specialists within their fields, and have been integral in internalizing the management of Precision’s assets and maximizing returns for the business. |
