History

Having acquired Adelaide Central Plaza from David Jones in 1999, Precision Group has developed and grown the Centre to make it Adelaide’s prime shopping destination. The last couple of years in particular has seen the arrival of several new tenants and large Centre upgrades that have reinforced the luxurious status of the Centre.

- Tiffany & Co. Joins Adelaide Central Plaza
This international luxury tenant has secured a 360sqm tenancy next to David Jones on the ground floor fronting North Terrace. Tiffany & Co. opened in 2014 and has been trading phenomenally ever since.

- David Jones Upgrade
David Jones spent approximately $25 million on their refurbishment across their five floors within the Centre. This included the conversion of their Lower Ground food hall to an Emporium of women's shoes and lingerie of approximately 2,000sqm. This is the biggest lingerie and women’s shoe offering in Adelaide with brands including Jimmy Choo and Christian Louboutin.

- Centre Upgrade
A Centre upgrade was undertaken in 2014 with over $15 million spent on high end finishes predominantly to the Lower Ground, Ground and First floors. This included raising entry statements and ceilings, modernising the food court (rebranded “Dine Central”), with food hall seating for over 430 patrons, and improving the design and finishes in the Centre with marble pillars, Swarovski chandeliers, mother of pearl feature ceilings, mobile phone charging stations and general design. The shop canopies facing the Rundle Mall have also been removed and replaced with a new steel and glassed contemporary canopy.

- New to Adelaide Central Plaza
In the last 12 months there have been a number of new operators who have fitted out stores in the Centre, including Pandora, Bed Bath N Table and Singapore Delights.  Plus a number of existing tenants have undertaken new store shop fit outs.
