Through Geoffrey's careful direction, his family's business, Playcorp, became the largest wholesale toy company in Australia before being sold to the Coles Group (now Wesfarmers) at which time Geoffrey became the investment manager for his family's private group of companies.

Geoffrey Tauber holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Major in Psychology) from Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Social Work from Latrobe University.
